I am a Professor of Political Science at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona (https://www.upf.edu/web/politiques) and I am also a Doctor-Member of the Juan March Institute (https://ic3jm.es/en/about-ic3jm/juan-march-phd/).
My current research agenda focuses on how institutions shape political representation, with a particular emphasis on understanding the interplay between electoral systems, party politics, federalism, and the broader impact of these factors on democratic processes. Additionally, I explore the relationship between sports and society, examining how sports can influence social and political dynamics.
